Course Description: Learn how to discern what the important conversations are by organizing and capturing source feedback into topics and themes. Learn the basic concepts of categorization strategies, evaluating stakeholder questions and building a category model.

Topics include: Describing the importance of categorization strategy, evaluating stakeholder questions and correlating to the strategy, and identifying steps for building a reportable category model. Other topics include leveraging template models to create a complete category model, learning to create rules to capture sentences in categories, evaluating a diagnostic dashboard to validate your category model and identifying areas to refine the model. Learning Objectives

  • Navigate to Designer and recognize the different elements available to build category models
  • Utilize the Categorization Library
  • Create new Blank Categories to fill any gaps in your category tree structure
  • Define Category Rules using the 6 main rule-building techniques
  • Understand and audit Recall and Precision
  • Create and interpret Designer reports as a tool throughout the Categorization Process
