Session 2: Connecting with Community Stakeholders and Partners
Collecting meaningful community engagement data can be a challenge for any school or district. This session will demonstrate how you can use Qualtrics to collect and analyze community engagement data throughout the year, and how you can align that data to improvement efforts. The webinar will include:

  • Identifying the goals of data collection
  • Outlining distribution and data collection considerations

Session 3: Demystifying Data Visualization Projects using Dashboards
Qualtrics K-12 users frequently ask for support creating and using dashboards to report on student data in an actionable way. Without a strategic approach to dashboard design, existing data visualization projects can become static and hard to update. This session will cover options for importing student data, the pros and cons of each, dashboard design considerations, and how you can link other student data sources to your dashboard (e.g., other achievement data, survey data, attendance data, etc). The webinar will include:

  • Identifying your data source(s)
  • Updating data throughout the year
  • Importing student data
  • Choosing the right dashboard widgets (e.g., numeric vs text widget functionality)
  • Creating effective and actionable visualizations
  • Filtering, sorting, and restricting data
  • Qualtrics features focused on: Imported Data Projects, Response Thresholds, Setting up Role-Based Dashboards, Stats iQ

Live Office Hours for Session 3 will be held on November 8th at 11 MT

Session 4: Cleaning Up the Clutter to Effectively Leverage XM Directory
One of the most powerful but also underutilized features in Qualtrics is XM Directory. Without some intentional upfront planning and ongoing administration of best practices, directories can become unwieldy and dysfunctional. With the right approach, however, XM Directory can control the flow of data and automate a lot of the manual work in Qualtrics. The webinar will include:

  • Understanding and utilizing key XM Directory features
  • Setting up your XM Directory with K-12-specific best practices
  • Automating and managing contact lists
  • Connecting anonymous survey links to authenticated contacts
  • Qualtrics features focused on: XM Directory, Survey Flow, Authenticators, Workflows, Ticketing

Live Office Hours for Session 4 will be held on December 13th at 11 MT
